From the very first phone call, I knew it was going to be helpful to book a
session with Chris. Our twelve month old kitty had been aggressive towards
me for some time and it was wearing very thin. Chris helped me understand
her behaviour from a cat’s perspective which helped enormously. Knowing she
wasn’t being deliberately nasty was a relief. She was just being a cat!
That said, her rough and tumble behaviour was very difficult to live with.
I learned that what I was doing was reinforcing that behaviour and I would
need to make some changes in how I responded to her. I’ve learned to think differently about
Shadow and appreciate her for the high spirited girl she is. Chris has been
very supportive and encouraging. He answers all my questions in detail and
followed up by email each week after our initial Skype session. Previously,
we thought we may have to re-home Shadow but I am so much happier now that
we are working towards a solution.
